Discovered on the surface of a field (McManus 1991, 73).
'rectangular...pointed at one end', 0.80m x 0.36m x 0.09m (Raftery 1960, 33, no. 126).
'All surfaces are weather-worn and the inscription cannot be read with certainty' (McManus 1991, 73). Raftery (1960, 33) notes that the pecked marks that are believed to constitute the remains of an inscription were on the face rather than the angle of the stone, characteristic, perhaps, of 'scholastic' ogham.
